Oyster Bay Pump Works have made themselves known for professional, industrial machines which prepare tubes and plates for modern diagnostic test kits. Their systems can handle small batches and very large production lots of more than a thousand plates per hour, including reagent distribution, washing, incubation, drying and finally packing. All systems are manufactured to GMP standards and meet FDA requirements.

The systems are based on standard conveyors with 3, 5, 10 or 12 stations, which can be equipped with the necessary modules (barcode reading and printing, dispensing, washing, aspirating, drying etc.). All systems are built to custom specifications. As they are a modular design they can be upgraded at a later date.

Oyster Bay systems are available for tubes and plates. Dispensing modules can have 8, 12, 16, 24, 48, 96 or 384 channels. For plates, 96 and 384 well washing is standard.
For reliable production the systems can be fitted with sensors for bubble detection in the liquid lines and level detection for filling.
Plates and tubes can be imprinted with barcodes and alphanumeric text on all sides, in single or multi colour.
To comply with GMP and FDA regulations, a complete audit trail is stored in a database; information can be retrieved for each individual tube or plate cavity of a production run. The software complies with FDA´s CFR 21-regulations.
