The spectrometersystem NIR1750 is small, lightweight and has no moving parts. Its monolithic design makes the spectrometer a compact and robust tool. Dynamic range: > 10.000, cooling not required. Furthermore, NIR1750 features a low energy consumption as well as a molded structure for a low price.
The NIR microspectrometer is a monolithic hollow waveguide with an integrated focusing echelette grating, produced by a micro molding technique. The spectrum is generated by coupling the light through a silica fiber into the center layer which contains a molded diffraction grating. The light is guided by total reflection in the waveguide. Key factors are new micro optical design and the use of integrated optical elements in combination with advanced assembling and test techniques and with easiest handling by the provided evaluation software NIRview. The monolithic construction is mechanically and environmentally stable.
The NIR spectrometers are available as OEM systems. Therefore, the diode arrays are equipped with a 16-bit controller module. The obtained data read out by the programmable electronics, are pre processed onboard and sent by the RS232 to the PC.
