The International Journal of Artificial Organs (IJAO) is the Official Journal of the European Society for Artificial Organs. IJAO publishes monthly peer-reviewed research, clinical and experimental contributions to the fields of artificial, bioartificial and tissue-engineered organs. IJAO's mission is to foster the development of artificial, bioartificial, tissue-engineered organs, for implantation or use in procedures, to treat functional deficits of all human tissues and organs.
