Description
Microbeam Analysis was a peer-reviewed scholarly journal and was the official publication of the Microbeam Analysis Society (MAS). Reports on new developments in all techniques of microbeam analysis and related topics were included, with an emphasis on spectroscopy combined with microscopy and microanalysis. Topics of interest include analytical electron microscopy, optical microanalysis, scanned probe microscopies and spectroscopies, microprobe mass spectrometry, computer aided imaging, and X-ray and electron spectroscopies. Application-oriented papers were also welcomed. The major goal of the journal was to create a broadinterdisciplinary forum involving the biological, biomedical, chemical, environmental, geological, and matereials science communities based on common scientific interest in microbeam analysis.
