Description
The Academy has been publishing its official journal "The Proceedings of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences" since 1963. The Proceedings is an International Journal that was being published biannually since 1997. Beginning with the year 2005, it has become a quarterly publication. The journal is covered by ISSN and is distributed to international scientific organizations and universities by subscription and on exchange basis. It publishes original research papers and reviews on a broad range of topics in basic and applied sciences under 4 sections: (Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Engineering Sciences & Technology). All papers are refereed externally. Authors are not required to be members or fellows of the Academy.
