Tributyl Tin (TBT) is a potent biocide and an endocrine disruptor. It is used primarily as an antifouling agent in marine paint, household cleaners, and cooling systems. Both methods in this section involve the derivatization of TBT followed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (B) or gas chromatography/flame photometry (C).
