LGC Project S3 – Analytical tools and procedures for trace element speciation studies in metal accumulating plants
Description
The purpose of this project is to develop and validate methodology for the extraction, measurement and characterisation of metal-containing species in plant materials in order to facilitate the exploitation of metal-accumulating plants for phytoremediation, (an emerging technique for land reclamation and effluent treatment), and in the production of new fortified animal feeds.
