Interests:
The main part of my young scientific carrier has been devoted to the detector side of speciation analysis, speaking about ICP-MS and related techniques in particular. Here I am especially interested in technical developments which help in overcoming typical issues like too low sensitivity due to limited sample volume, strong polyatomic interferences preventing accurate results or a lack of automation in hyphenated methods.
Instrumentation:
ICP-MS (quadrupol and sectorfield)
LC-ICP-MS
FI-ICP-MS
LA-ICP-MS
