Speciation and determination of heavy and toxic metals in various matrices and samples like pharmaceutical, sediments, biological tissues and liquids, foods, natural waters and wastewaters, industrial materials, archaeological specimens, etc.
Speciation methods for metals and organometallic species. Determinations of metals and metal species with biomolecules in natural substances.
Sample pretreatment. Wet acid digestions. Microwave and conventional decomposition techniques. Liquid liquid and solid phase extraction and microextraction.
Statistical analysis in Analytical Chemistry (Chemometrics). Experimental Design in optimisation of analytical methods
