  • Speciation and determination of heavy and toxic metals in various matrices and samples like pharmaceutical, sediments, biological tissues and liquids, foods, natural waters and wastewaters, industrial materials, archaeological specimens, etc.
  • Speciation methods for metals and organometallic species. Determinations of metals and metal species with biomolecules in natural substances.
  • Sample pretreatment. Wet acid digestions. Microwave and conventional decomposition techniques. Liquid liquid and solid phase extraction and microextraction.
  • Statistical analysis in Analytical Chemistry (Chemometrics). Experimental Design in optimisation of analytical methods

Elemental and Speciation analysis with various analytical techniques like:
  • Electrothermal, fl;ame and flameless atomic absorption spectrometry
  • Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Spectrometry (ICP-AES)
