Optimization of single molecule detection techniques in order
to characterize biopolymers and colloids. Development of whole
cell biosensors. Several multidisciplinary collaborations
are underway with biologists, limnologists and oceanographers
in order to improve our understanding of biological and environmental
processes at a molecular level.
