Ion chromatography – sample preparation, columns, eluents, suppressors, detectors, and applications.
Applications of chromatographic techniques (IC, HPLC, GC) for the determination of inorganic and organic compounds in environmental samples.
Application of hyphenated techniques (IC-ICP-MS, IC-MS) in speciation analysis (water inorganic disinfection by-products, metal/metalloids ions).
Instrumentation:
Metrohm ion chromatographs with conductometric, UV/Vis and amperometry detectors.
ICP MS Perkin Erlmer 6100 Elan DRC-e.
Gas chromatograph Shimadzu QP-2010 plus with MS, FID and ECD detectors.
HPLC Varian Polaris with UV/Vis detector.
EDXRF spectrometer' Panalytica Epsylon 5.
