Scope
To present and debate, through invited and submitted communications,
the state-of-art in minerals and metal ions in terms of therapeutics,
disease processes or optimal human health, as well as the underlying
mechanisms as determined through in vitro and in vivo models and analytical methods.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the 11th edition of “Metal ions in Biology and Medicine” by John Libbey Eurotext, Paris. This volume will consist of two parts. Part I will incorporate all abstracts that have been accepted for Oral presentations and Posters while Part II will comprise of peer reviewed short papers/mini reviews.
