Selenium 2006 will consist of oral and poster presentations in all areas of Selenium biology and medicine, ranging from genomics & RNA structure/function to human & animal nutrition and to cancer prevention, toxicology & environmental chemistry. The main oral presentation sessions will be held in the Memorial Union Theater, a large auditorium built in the Art Deco style in 1939, with seating for 1,300

An initial 30 invited speakers have agreed to present at Selenium 2006. We will select additional speakers based on submitted abstracts. The deadline for submission of abstracts is Tuesday, May 2, 2006. In addition and dependent on funding, we plan to partially support a small number of new investigators.
