Since its first edition in 1989 in Orlando (USA), the ICFIA conference has been held every two years to discuss fundamental aspects and innovative developments based on flow injection analysis and related techniques.

The 22nd edition will be held in Marseille (France) in 2023, with focus on developments in flow-based instrumentation, on-line sample processing, miniaturized systems and microfluidic systems and new applications of these techniques in the field of biology, environmental chemistry, or in the industrial field for process monitoring.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of flow analysis and to set future directions and collaborations in a friendly setting. This conference is also an opportunity for young students and researchers to present their work at our special sessions for young scientists.

The International Conference on Flow Injection Analysis and related techniques (ICFIA) brings together an international array of scientists, engineers, equipment manufacturers, and other professionals to discuss the latest findings and developments on the fundamental sciences related to the flow-based analysis and the innovative applications in many analytical fields.

The 22nd edition of this conference perpetuates this tradition by being a privileged forum to discuss novel ideas and instrumental advances in flow analysis, flow chemistry and biochemistry, and related subjects and techniques :

  • Advanced technologies for trace analysis
  • New flow-based technologies
  • Automated and new detection systems
  • Speciation
  • Applications to environmental (water, air, soil), clinical analysis, quality and process control, and food safety
