This symposium is organized as a pre-symposium related to the XXXVI Colloquium Spectroscopicum Internationale, to be held in Budapest.
ISSEBETS has become a real trademark of a series of conferences covering a wide range of basic and applied speciation studies. Its interdisciplinary structure is based on a 17-year long tradition from the first symposium located in Bergen (Norway, 1991) through the countries Norway (Leon, 1994), Australia (Port Douglas, 1997), Canada (Whistler, 2000), Spain (Almuńécar, 2003), until the latest successful event in Poland (Bialowieza, 2006). ISSEBETS is characterized by the familiar atmosphere providing a perfect spot for direct acquisition of state-of-the-art scientific news and information on environmental chemistry, biology and medicine of trace element species.
