Conference builds on cooperation between the Slovak and Czech Spectroscopic Society, which was restored in the form of national spectroscopic conferences in 2008 by XIXth Slovak-Czech Spectroscopic Conference in Časta-Papiernička and in the same time it continues in the tradition of Slovak spectroscopic conferences, which began as a workshop in Hrabušice in 1970. The aim of the conference is exchange of knowledge and experience of experts from universities, academia, laboratory practice and industry on international scale. The conference, with respect to its scope, provides a space for the presentation of the contemporary state and trends and problem solving at all stages of the analytical procedure relating to the application of spectroscopy in the analysis of various materials.

Programme of the conference will consist of invited lectures (30 min), oral (20
min) and poster presentations. Time of the presentation includes discussion.
Emphasis will be placed both on the presentation of the latest scientific
knowledge from the field of methodology and instrumentation, as well as the
application and use of spectroscopy/spectrometry in various areas of practical
life. Conference languages will be Slovak, Czech and English. Invited lectures
and oral presentations in Slovak or Czech language must be visualized in
English. There will be commercially available projection technology. Posters
must be prepared in English. CONFERENCE TOPICS - Atomic spectrometry
- Molecular spectroscopy
- X-ray spectrometry
- Mass spectrometry
- Other spectroscopic methods, instrumentation, and methodology
- Sample preparation and decomposition techniques
- Reference materials
- Chemometrics, standardization and validation
- Spectroscopy and spectrometry: theory, techniques, trends, development and applications in the analysis of chemical, environmental, geological, biological, food, pharmaceutical, industrial and other materials
