  • Microlocal analysis by LA-ICP-MS and nanolocal analysis for future application on single cells by near field LA-ICP-MS
  • Metallomics: detection and elucation of metalloproteins in 2D gels with LA-ICP-MS (in combination to MALDI-FTICR-MS)
  • Imaging mass spectrometry by LA-ICP-MS (e.g. quantitative mapping of essential and toxic elements in thin section of biological tissues (e.g., human brain, animal tissues and plants)
  • Study of neurodegenerative diseases by imaging LA-ICP-MS on thin section of brain tissues and metallomics (Morbus Parkinson, Alzheimer's diseases, tumor growing, aging)
  • Development of on-line Lasermicrodissection-ICP-MS (LMD-ICP-MS)  for bioimaging and metallomics of single cells
