Interests:
Environmental biogeochemistry, analytical chemistry, elemental speciation and controls on biogeochemical mobility in groundwaters and soils both in the EU and elsewhere in the world, notably including Bengal and south-east Asia. Thermodynamics. Applications to hazardous geogenic chemicals, including arsenic, in the environment; ore genesis and oil field reservoir souring.
