Interests:
  • Speciation analysis in food and environmental samples using HPLC-HG-AFS/HPLC-ICP-MS system.
  • Selenium speciation in edible mushroom and Brazil nuts using different sample preparation methods (e.g. one step or sequential enzymatic extraction).
  • Speciation analysis in the aquatic environment. (e.g. cancerostatic platinum compounds, phosphorous containing herbicides and phosphonates)
  • Sample introduction to ICP-MS (e.g. ETV, HG, HHPN)

Instrumentation:
  • HPLC-HG-AFS
  • HPLC coupled to ICP-DRCMS and ICP-SFMS
  • ICP-TOF-MS in combination with ETV and HG
