Interests:
Analytical chemistry and Trace element analysis, the use of enriched stable isotopes as biomarkers in biological systems, and elemental speciation. The speciation analysis is focused on selenium and Sulphur in connection with human metabolism. Another area of great interest is the application of enriched stable isotopes as tracers in biological systems and generation of information on chemical pathways and incorporation into human metabolites of specific trace elements (e.g. Calcium).
Instrumentation:
ELAN 6000 ICPMS,
ELAN DRC-e ICPMS,
various HPLC system,
ESI-MS
