Interests:
Major research interests include isotopic analysis using various types of ICPMS instrumentation, ion-molecule chemistry in a dynamic reaction cell to avoid spectral interferences in quadrupole-based ICPMS, direct analysis of solid materials by means of ICPMS using electrothermal vaporization (ETV) and laser ablation (LA) for sample introduction and the hyphenation of chromatographic separation techniques with ICPMS for speciation purposes.
Instrumentation:
ICP-QMS (SCIEX ELAN 5000, HP 4500)
ICP-QMS with Dynamic Reaction Cell (PE-SCIEX ELAN 6100 DRC)
ICP-SFMS (Finnigan-MAT Element)
MC-ICP-MS (Thermo Scientific Neptune)
Different sample introduction devices (Laser Ablation, GC, CE, Aridus)
