With INCAEnergy+ Oxford Instruments has combined the speed and convenience of EDS with the resolving power and sensitivity of WDS. INCAEnergy + combines the outputs of the EDS and WDS spectrometers to provide simultaneous analysis of major elements (by EDS) and minor/trace elements (by WDS).

- INCAEnergy+ is fully integrated into the familiar INCA Energy user interface, ensuring straightforward acquisition and processing of all data
- Swiping the mouse under a peak in the EDS spectrum automatically starts acquisition of a WDS spectral scan
- EDS and WDS data is acquired simultaneously for fast and accurate quantitative analysis of all elements
- Optional variable collimator EDS detector means excellent EDS analysis is possible, even at very high beam currents
