Dedicated Analyzer: Mercury |
The FIMS-100 is a compact, easy-to-operate atomic absorption spectrometer dedicated to the determination of mercury. Based on flow injection techniques, FIMS is fully automated, fast, and cost-effective. The FIMS uses a high-performance single-beam optical system with a low pressure mercury lamp and solar-blind detector for maximum performance. The FIMS-100 has one stepper motor-driven peristaltic pump with a maximum of 8 channels for tubing.
FIMS is fully controlled from a personal computer using WinLab32 for AATM software, a true Microsoft Windows-based program with an unparalleled offering of standard features, including a full range of analytical checks and quality control functions for GLP, GALP, and regulatory compliance, data editing, reformatting, and transfer. FIMS provides detection limits of <0.01 µg/L. An optional on-line amalgamation accessory can improve detection limits even further.
FIMS can also be used with PerkinElmer AA, ICP and ICP-MS instruments for the determination of hydride-forming elements.
