The Axios-Cement has been especially designed to meet the needs of XRF analysis in the cement industry. Reliable in a dusty environment and with a small footprint, it is the ideal flexible XRF spectrometer for demanding applications such as control of:
- raw mix, from the blending to the frequently monitored kiln feed
- clinker, especially the moduli and the halogen cycle in the kiln
- cement during the final blending and dispatch
- deliveries from the quarry
- incoming goods (raw materials and fuels)
- special applications like lubrication analysis, alternative fuels or trace element analysis in alternative fuels and raw materials.
Furthermore, these analyses can all be extended to cope with various local and international legislation.
Axios-Cement is a stable and reliable system. The reproducibility described in the ASTM C114 norm is easily met. Axios-Cement comes with special cement software featuring a range of application set-ups for the cement industry, including worked examples and methods.
The package also includes the CEMOXI set of 9 standards for 11 cement oxides. Combined with SuperQ's FP algorithm this makes a unique system for high quality analysis.
Axios-Cement is equipped with a sample dust protection device for trouble-free operation. For more flexibility and extended routine operation the system is easy to upgrade with features such as:
Power and continuous loading, for extra speed of analysis and analytical performance
Pro-Trace software module for trace element analysis down to sub-ppm level
IQ+ software module for complete standardless analysis
Optional sample inverter for integration in an automated laboratory set-up or with an X-ray diffractometer into a TWIN system.
