Thermal Analysis: TMA |
The special feature of this vertically operating Dilatometer is the linear motor for the generation of constant or dynamic load changes within the frequency range of 0,05 - 50Hz in a temperature range of -160° up to 1450°C. Both compressive and tensile forces ranging from 0 - 2,5N can be generated.
The resolution of temperature and change in length is 0,05°C and 10nm. The test can be carried out under inert gas, vacuum and air.
Various measuring systems made of fused silica, Al2O3, with different forms (circular, flat, pointed), bending bearings and gripping devices enable the examination of sintering processes, elastic-viscous behaviour and the determination of softening- and transformation temperatures and the linear thermal coefficient of expansion.
The dynamic furnaces enable heating rates of 100K/min and cooling rates of 50K/min.
Various and certified reference materials for the calibration of the equipment are available.
The entire electronics works digitally and with an own 32-Bit processor system to control the furnaces, the measuring data recording, the gas supply, the vacuum unit and the safety installations. The real special thing is the possibility to connect the system to the Ethernet which offers both a remote operation of the TMA and an external evaluation of the data. Here the communication is running via the TCP/IP protocol and the installed 10-Mbit/s Ethernet interface.
The professional 32-Bit software WINTA 9.0 runs under Windows®98, ME, 2000, NT4.0, XP. An extensive software accurately and efficiently deals with both routing tasks and comprehensive evaluations. Export functions as tables in ASCII and Excel format as well as a graphic file output in the formats BMP, JPG, TIF, EMF etc. enable a cross-platform work.
