- Highly accurate liquid delivery at a semi-micro flow rate
Having a micro-plunger of novel design, the Model L-2100 pump (SMASH) can feed liquid with extremely high accuracy at a semi-micro flow rate. Moreover, its new-type check valve ensures the high accuracy in liquid delivery. This pump is particularly suitable for semi-micro analysis at a flow rate of 0.05 to 1 mL/min.
- Enhancement in flow rate accuracy
The double-speed control method has been used for pulsation correction in the conventional design of Hitachi HPLC pumps. In the Model L-2100 pump (SMASH), the start of double-speed drive is made at an earlier point of time for further reduction in pulsation.
- Higher reproducibility of retention time in gradient-elution analysis
In gradient analysis, the use of the Model L-2200 autosampler provides excellent reproducibility of retention time for ensuring high accuracy in analysis. This advantageous feature has been implemented by means of synchronizing the injection timing of the autosampler with the drive timing of the pump.
- High-accuracy solvent mixing ratio in high-pressure gradient analysis
For high-pressure gradient analysis, a pressure sub-sensor is added to each of two pumps in addition to a normal pressure sensor equipped on each of them, i.e., a total of four sensors are employed. These four sensors ensure high stability of a solvent mixing ratio in liquid delivery, realizing high-accuracy gradient analysis with excellent reproducibility. This arrangement is particularly suitable for analyses in the micro region of 50 µL/min.
