The LC/MSD Trap XCT Ultra, with a powerful new data processor, features dramatically reduced dead time between scans, resulting in 3X as many complete scan cycles at the same nominal scan speed.
This increase in scan cycles can result in the identification of 60 - 80 percent more peptides from proteolytically digested proteins. It can also provide significantly improve quantitation.
The XCT Ultra features two new automated, data-dependent neutral-loss analysis modes for better analysis of post-translational modifications.
In addition to the XCT Ultra, Agilent offers multiple ion trap mass spectrometers to meet the widest range of budget and performance requirements:
