At-Line & Laboratory QC
Solids (including solid dosage forms, powders and lyophilized cakes) and liquids can be analysed on the Direct Contact™ Analyzer without removal from their glass or plastic packaging or sample bag. Bulk liquids can be tested in standard laboratory beakers.
The Direct Contact™ Analyzer offers rapid chemical analysis and physical parameter testing without opening the sample container. The analyser accepts unopened containers such as plastic bags, beakers, vials, and bottles.
Operation is based on near-infrared (NIR) technology, which is completely non-destructive. The Direct Contact Analyzer returns each sample unharmed for further testing, if wanted. The Direct Contact Analyzer is a non fiber-based system, which allows for use of the entire wavelength region to 2500 nm. The NIR measurement process is completed in about 45 seconds. Compare the timesaving and manufacturing efficiency of NIR with HPLC, FTIR, and Karl Fischer methods.
The Direct Contact Analyzer is a true multipurpose analyser and can be used to analyse powders, liquids, or finished dosage forms without changing the instrument. Scanning from 400nm to 2500nm permits measurement of product color variance in every test, without extending the analysis time.
Measure incoming raw materials for identification and qualification in seconds. The NIR method will eliminate the need for most other tests, and reduce the time in quarantine from days to minutes. Because NIR is a “green” technology there are no solvent or disposal problems. Nothing is consumed: the sample remains completely uncontaminated and there is nothing to dispose of after the test.
