Capp A/S is an independent Danish company operating out of the historic town of Odense, the birthplace of the fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen (The Little Mermaid, The Emperor’s New Clothes). Tracing its roots to the University of Southern Denmark, Cappelen Laboratory Technics, which is now incorporated as Capp A/S, was founded in 1984 as a private company.
From its inception it has been Capp A/S declared mission to exclusively develop and manufacture liquid laboratory handling instruments of unsurpassed quality and design.
From its modest start Cappelen has grown an international company that sells pipettes, pipette tips and micro plate washers in just under 70 countries worldwide through its extensive network of laboratory suppliers.
In addition to products sold under the registered Capp® brand name, Capp A/S has established private brand arrangements with selected manufacturers of related equipment to round out the high level of quality products available through the company.
The majority of end-users of Capp® Liquid handling instrument are hospital laboratories and research laboratories across the globe.
