Primary expertise is centered in the semiconductor, medical, scientific analysis, instrumentation and inspection, communications and specialized applications such as precision welding and commercial/industrial printing. Over the years the business has grown in depth and capability producing a comprehensive and continually expanding range of products to meet the most severe and challenging customer demands. Our growing expertise gives us capability outside these areas allowing us to "step out of the box" when needed.

HiTek Power - About UsThe origins of the company began in 1972 when the UK business was founded and quickly established itself as a leading force in the field of high voltage power electronics. We have an established sales application, engineering and customer support facility in Germany, which is a key part of our European operation. In the US, where the original business was founded in 1990, we have developed a wide range of low voltage platforms providing fast turnaround custom solutions. We have also based there a complementary team of HiVolt design engineers focused on low power applications. Over many years we have built up strong partnerships in Taiwan/China and India for cost effective manufacturing for high volume requirement. In order to improve customer service in 2002, we established a support facility on the East Coast of the US.

The Engineering function consists of highly qualified and experienced specialists who spearhead the technology, design and development of both low and high voltage applications and projects from concept to detailed electrical and mechanical design to give the customer a total solution. HiTek Power continues to invest in this core competency to deliver added value to our customers.

HiTek Power - About UsEmploying approximately 140 people, HiTek Power has primary locations at Littlehampton, on the South Coast of England, San Diego, Walnut and Boston in the USA and Frankfurt in Germany. Both UK and West Coast USA sites house all functions including sales, administration, design teams and modular cellular production facilities including mechanical and electrical assembly and test. The East Coast USA and German facilities comprise sales, application engineering, customer support and warehouse, with Walnut, California, being our center of excellence for Low Voltage engineering.

Our wide product capability provides customers with a "one stop" solution for their power needs. Innovative designs and superior product performance satisfy the requirements of diverse technological applications in selected markets. As a result of our engineering expertise and modern manufacturing techniques, HiTek Power is now recognized as the world's number one supplier of high voltage power supplies for the semiconductor industry where performance, quality and long term reliability are of paramount importance.
