Spectrometer ( Atom. ): AAS: Furnace |
The first AAS spectrometer allowing manual or automated direct introduction of solid samples - as individual system for graphite furnace technique or as supplementary option to the AAS vario.
The solid sample technique eliminates one of the biggest sources of errors associated with this analytical technique: contamination, carry-over or modification of the original substance. The AAS solid stands out by the use of the transversely heated furnace providing excellent detection limits and coping with very complex matrices.
- The first AAS worldwide making automated direct solids analysis possible.
- Direct introduction of samples - from powder to sample pieces - by means of a specially modified sample holder of pyrographite.
- Suitable for routine use by the usability of different samplers from manual to fully automated types.
- Very high efficiency, time saving, saving of highly pure chemicals and expensive digestion systems through direct analysis of solid samples.
- Ideal analytical method for biomonitoring and screening and for homogeneity investigations.
- No dedicated system, but easily upgradable to a conventional graphite furnace system thus enormously extending its applications.
