WineScan™ FT 120 Basic has a FTIR interferometer (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) interferometer that scans the full mid-infrared spectrum. Collection of data from the entire spectrum gives the opportunity to analyse many parameters.
WineScan™ FT 120 Basic is the solution for smaller wine producers with the need for fast and cost-effective analysis.
Results for major parameters are delivered in approximately 30 seconds, including ethanol, total acidity, volatile acidity, malic acidity, pH and glucose/fructose.
Sample preparation is straightforward and does not involve the use of expensive reagents – providing a significant payback on investment.
Automated selection of ready-to-use calibrations allows a fast and flexible response to analysis tasks. The calibration modules represent white, red and rose wines. Calibrations are transferable from one instrument to another and new calibrations can be developed for specific purposes.
An auto sampler option is available allowing the unattended analysis of up to 120 samples per hour.
Proven FOSS technology ensures reliability of results and software included with the instrument allows results to be exported to a variety of software programs.
Providing valuable knowledge at key stages of the wine production process, WineScan FT 120 Basic offers a fast, objective and cost-effective way to ensure the quality of finished wine.
