- Cooling function in standard arrangement
The Model L-2300 column oven comes standard with a cooling function to enable control in the range of (ambient temperature -15) to 65. - Optimized heating for providing sharp peaks
The symmetry property and sharpness of a chromatographic peak largely depend on the performance of the column oven as well as the performance and flow rate of the column. In the Model L-2300 column oven, the column heating section uses an air-circulation heating method, and the preheating uses a block heating method. This combination of the two methods enhances the symmetry property and sharpness of a peak. - Inside of oven checkable with lid closed
A transparent front cover is employed for allowing you to check the inside of the oven with the lid closed. Thus, you can check for liquid leakage and observe the column condition without giving an adverse effect on temperature control. - Preheating section customizable by user
In analyses at a high flow rate, the retention time varies depending on the ambient temperature unless the preheating function is provided. This is because the temperature at the top of the column decreases due to an eluent to cause a temperature gradient on the inside of the column. The preheating section of the Model L-2300 column oven can be adjusted to an optimum length according to the flow rate, allowing you to carry out analyses without being affected by the ambient temperature. Furthermore, since the autosampler can be directly connected to the column without using a coupling, there occurs no dead volume that would otherwise cause a decrease in resolution. - Automatic analytical operation using three-column selector unit
The optional three-column selector unit can be mounted so that you can select any one of three columns for each analytical measurement. Without taking burdensome procedures such as piping reconnection, you can acquire analytical result data using plural columns. This provision is most suitable for measurement condition examinations and multi-method analyses. Since a changeover from a pseudo column to an analytical column is automatically performed during execution of auto validation, analytical measurements can be accomplished unattended after the startup (option).
