Designed especially for difficult sample matrices, the 3600M gives customers a choice of advanced options to optimize the instrument for their particular application. The result is a custom-built, high performance instrument at a price less than that of a larger laboratory unit.
The 3600M's options include the specialized CLS (Custom Line Source) that increases excitation energy to specific hard-to-measure elements within the sample matrix. The CLS option provides increased peak to background ratio and improved detection limits - a 5x improvement in the MDL for sodium (Na). The ultra-sensitive LEO (Light Element Optimized) detector option affords a 10x improvement in the MDL for sodium (Na).
