The QUANTRON team´s knowledge and understanding in the field of analysis, optronics, detection, electronics, and information technology has been fundamental to the development and introduction of a completely new emission spectrometer. Each module of MAGELLAN has been designed with emphasis for highest performance without any compromise, all components of the new spectrometer have been optimised for full functional synchronisation.
Characteristics
- Excellent detection limits for all elements. Measurement signals are recorded by extremely sensitive, stable, and low-noise channel photomultipliers.
- Improved accuracy of measured results. A microprocessor-controlled source has been optimised with the evaluation system.
- A time-resolved evaluation of the single spark intensity is standard for the instrument.
- Remarkable low maintenance of the optical system is achieved by use of an oil-free vacuum technique.
- Insensitive to environmental influences, e.g. temperature deviations, air pressure changes, etc.
- Ergonomically designed spark stand with pneumatic sample holder.
- Fast handling of samples with different dimensions.
- Especially low argon consumption at optimum flow characteristics.
QMatrix: The Spectrometer Software
The software is based on standards of Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Operation is very user friendly and can be learned quickly and easily.
All programs have been specifically developed to guarantee rapid and reliable operation of the analytical instrument. These programs completely meet any demands that are made on a modern quality management system.
This software expands up to an integrated analysis management system with an SQL database.
Communication to other computer systems is carried out via a TCP/IP protocol, this also allows remote diagnosis to be made by our customer service.
