PrinCE 450, PrinCE 460, PrinCE-C 455 and PrinCE-C 465: The routine analysers
The PrinCE 450, PrinCE 460, PrinCE-C 455 and PrinCE-C 465 are the routine analyser capillary electrophoresis systems. These PrinCE systems are fully automated and can handle up to 32 (or optional 40) samples without interference of the operator, while still maintaining 10 (or optional 5) buffer vials. Any combination of six segments (sample/buffer type) can be used. The operator can exchange the segments easily without needing any tools. The PrinCE 460 and PrinCE-C 465 offer the extra possibility of samples and buffers cooling. The PrinCE-C 455 and 465 are offering the possibility for external pressure up to 10 bars.
The extra features of PrinCE-C 455 and PrinCE-C 465, compared to the PrinCE 450 and PrinCE 460:
- The effective capillary length is reduced by 5 cm.
- High pressure up to 10 bars by gas pressure allows CEC and faster rinsing with buffers of high viscosity (or: use of buffers with even higher viscosity, use of high viscosity buffers in narrower i.d. capillaries).
