Description
The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene is a joint publication of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH®). The JOEH is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to enhancing the knowledge and practice of occupational and environmental hygiene and safety by widely disseminating research articles and applied studies of the highest quality.

Published monthly, the JOEH provides a written medium for the communication of ideas, methods, processes, and research in the areas of occupational, industrial, and environmental hygiene; exposure assessment; engineering controls; occupational and environmental epidemiology, medicine, and toxicology; ergonomics; and other related disciplines.

The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene was selected by ISI for coverage in the Science Citation Index, the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), and Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Sciences beginning with the Vol. 1 (1) Jan. 04 issue. The journal will not receive an impact factor or category rankings until the 2006 citation data is available in the summer of 2007.
