Description
Quality Assurance is an international peer-reviewed quarterly publishing original papers on quality principles and procedures in all fields of science, especially the biological, physical, environmental, and engineering sciences. Of particular interest are articles that promote an understanding of the scientific, regulatory, legal, and international harmonization issues that are of the utmost importance to the generation of the highest quality data or product. Topics range from the discussion of principles germaine to all quality assurance programs to research findings indicating specific quality assurance needs to the examination of control procedures used in scientific research, testing, and manufacturing. the journal also examines regulations at the national and international level that address quality (e.g., Good Laboratory Practice, Good Automated Laboratory Practice, Good Clinical Practice, and Good Manufacturing Practices), as well as the legal issues in their implementation and harmonization.
