Description
Directive 2002/95/EC (abbreviated as RoHS) restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products as of July 2006. The substances covered are cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). This document provides an outline of the RoHS Directive. It also includes a useful flowchart that helps you determine whether your products fall under the RoHS Directive.
