Interests:
  • Reliable and comparable quantification of small molecules containing metals such as selenomethionine in clinical samples using species-specific isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS)
  • Reliable and comparable quantification of metalloproteins such as haemoglobin, transferrin, superoxide dismutase, ceruloplasmin and ferritin in samples of human origin using species-specific IDMS
  • Production of isotopically labelled metalloproteins as spike material
  • Mercury speciation and polybrominated diphenylether in water using species-specific IDMS

  • High performance liquid chromatography coupled to inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HPLC-ICP-MS)
