Certified reference materials for lead speciation
Organolead compounds have been used for decades as anti-knock additives in gasoline and this has resulted in global environmnetal contamination.
Speciation analysis tries to follow the route of the lead contamination by specifying the responsable compounds.
CRMs play a major role in the development and validation of
methods and for quality control. The following certified reference
materials (CRMs) are available for speciation analysis:
