According to the constitution of the CSI, the objective of this conference is "to bring together spectroscopists on a worldwide scale to stimulate contacts and exchange of experiences  ". It will consist of plenary and parallel sessions, poster presentation, and an instruments exhibition. World-famous scientists will be invited to give plenary and keynote lectures at the conference. Also, social program, excursion, as well as program for accompanying persons will be nicely organized.

Instrument manufacturers and related firms are invited to show their products and services at the conference exhibition. You will find China a huge market for instruments and Xiamen an ideal city for investments. APC(UPS), ABB, Dell, Kodak, Linde, Philips, TDK, etc, have their manufacturing facilities in Xiamen.

Contributions are invited for oral or poster presentation on subjects within the scope of the conference:

  • Atomic Spectrometry (AAS, AES, AFS, Plasma, etc.)
  • Molecular Spectrometry (UV-VIS, IR, Chemi- luminescence/Fluorescence/Phosphorescence, Raman, NMR, etc.)
  • Mass Spectrometry (organic and inorganic)

  • X-Ray and Sychrontron Spectroscopy
  • Chemometrics

Papers on fundamentals, applications and instrumentation of the above topics are welcome.

Pre- and post-conference symposia will be organized in Shanghai and Beijing the capital, the most vibrant and fascinating metropolises of China.
