Third International Symposium of the Federation of European Societies on Trace Elements and Minerals

On behalf of the Organising Committee and the Scientific Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to Santiago de Compostela, to the Third International Symposium of the Federation of European Societies on Trace Elements and Minerals. This is the first time that Spain has had the honour of hosting the meeting.

We have chosen as the theme “Recent Advances in Trace Elements Research: From Experiments to Nutritional and Clinical Applications in Humans”. I hope you will all find something of interest within the programme. The scientific programme includes 9 plenary sessions, oral presentations, 3 poster sessions and 2 round tables. We particularly wish to invite young scientists to participate actively in this conference.

I hope you will also have time to enjoy your stay in our ancient city.

I would like to thank you for your collaboration and participation in this event, and I look forward to welcoming you to Santiago de Compostela in may 2007.
