Covering the complete breadth of development and applications in SIMS will stay the major goal of this conference. To reflect the trend towards imaging applications of SIMS, this area will not only continue to be covered strongly, but we will incorporate more complementary imaging mass spectrometric techniques to broaden the scope of the meeting.
