Thermal Analysis: DSC |
The dynamic differential scanning calorimetry measures the difference of the heat flow between sample-furnace and inert-sample-furnace as a function of temperature.
The sample and the inert sample are placed on metallic sensor plates in the two separated chambers. This construction causes a thermal decoupling, a stable base line, a low time constant and a high sensitivity of 5µW. This system guarantees an exact determination of e.g. enthalphys, specific heat, transformer temperatures, purity, crystallization or melting behaviour. The thermal noise of this measuring system is 1µW.
The dynamic silver furnace allows heating rates of 50K/min and cooling rates of 30K/min.
The entire electronics operates digitally and with an own processor system for the control and the measuring data recording. The professional 32-Bit software WinTA 9.0 runs under Windows®98, ME, 2000, NT4.0, XP. An extensive software accurately and efficiently deals with both routine tasks and comprehensive evaluations. Export functions as tables in ASCII and Excel format as well as a graphic file output in the formats BMP, JPG, TIF, EMF etc. enable a cross-platform work.
