Element Analyzer: CHNOS |
Elemental micro analysis on the highest level
Concept and performance of the third generation of the most successful CHNOS elemental analyzer set again the standards for this class of instruments.
Less than 1 mg pharmaceuticals can be analyzed just as precise as 800 mg soil samples. Volatile gasoline or temperature-proof silicon carbide can be analyzed just like coal, foodstuff or sewage sludge - without restriction of the elements, simultaneously for CHNS or for the combinations CNS, CHN, CN and O.
Universality and analytic performance of the vario EL are also the basis of application with mass spectrometer (IRMS) and of other special applications (TRACE S/N, CHN liquid injection).

Operation modes CHNS, CHN, CNS, CN, S, N, O (with TCD or IR detection). All for solid and liquid, organic and most inorganic samples
Quantitative high temperature decomposition Up to 1200°C (1800°C during combustion) for analytical accuracy also for difficult to combust samples. Jet injection of oxygen supplies high concentration at the place of combustion with very low total usage.
Large dynamic range for elemental concentration e.g. up to 30 mg C or 10 mg N absolute (or 100 %)
Largest weigh-in range of samples from micro (< 1mg) to macro (1 g) depending on sample composition. ; Bulky samples of up to 1 ml volume can also be analyzed Termally controlled purge and trap technique results in baseline resolution of all analytical peaks regardless of relative concentration. Analysis time is automatically optimized.
Multipoint calibration is stable for many months and independent of sample matrix. All instrument parameters are controlled through Windows® PC All analytical results are automatically calculated and complete operating conditions for each sample are stored. Optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software is available.
Easy operation and maintenance and low consumable costs no expensive special catalysts, easy ash removal from the combustion tube and long service lives of all components results in a robust analyzer with low costs.
