The GBC 950 series instruments are fully computer controlled, from plasma ignition to results printout. Operating parameters are monitored on the computer screen, and controlled from the keyboard. High standards of analytical performance for both aqueous and organic samples are maintained by a new high-precision concentric nebulizer. A fully demountable, self-aligning torch which features drop-in replacement glassware simplifies maintenance and minimises downtime. The choice of optical systems includes either simultaneous (polychromator), sequential (monochromator) or both modes of operation. The wavelength range extends from 160 to 820 nm and all systems are fully thermostatted for temperature stability.
