Compact design frees up bench space and decreases system volume. New M PathTM triple orthogonal source technology virtually eliminates neutral noise and background. MSQTM Plus source design features tool-free maintenance. Unique FastLocTM probes provide simple and rapid mode changes. All features of the MSQ Plus are fully supported in the latest Dionex MS software. Full scan and Selected Ion Monitoring (SIM) allow for rapid screen and target compound analysis. The MSQ Plus features a state-of-the-art vacuum system. Precision-engineered quadrupole analyzer maximizes resolution and provides high stability and minimal drift. All new Ion BrightTM detector system eliminates neutral noise, extending the dynamic range. The MSQ Plus features a self-contained reference inlet system for tuning and calibration. Advanced autotuning wizard includes full system optimization and mass scale calibration.
The MSQ Plus Mass Spectrometer can be used in a wide range of applications and methodologies. Only 12 in. wide, the MSQ Plus is by far the most compact mass spectrometer on the market today and offers outstanding performance and functionality. The MSQ Plus features a high-sensitivity, self-cleaning ESI/APCI ionization source that requires no mechanical adjustment or electrostatic focusing for sample optimization. The compact triple orthogonal source design is optimized for a wide range of flow rates and can be used with a wide range of chromatographic buffers. To extend the use of MSQ Plus to extremely low-mass applications (e.g., below 60 m/z), an Enhanced Low-Mass Option (ELMO) version is available that incorporates innovative engineering to significantly increase low-mass transmission efficiency. When coupled with Chromeleon®, mass spectrometric data can be integrated with most current laboratory IC and LC methods. The Chromeleon MS data system takes input from traditional chromatography system detectors (UV, PDA, conductance, and fluorescence) and combines it with the selectivity, sensitivity, and specificity of mass spectrometry.
