Andor’s new Mechelle ME5000 spectrograph has been designed to provide simultaneous recording of a wide wavelength range (200-975 nm) in one acquisition. It has no moving components is available in a pre-aligned detector/spectrometer format. The Andor Mechelle spectrograph is based on the echelle grating principal and its patented optical design provides extremely low cross-talk and maximum resolution compared with other spectrographs. Features: - Patented optical design: the design of the Shamrock 163i spectrograph provides better resolution with higher throughput. It is based on a Czerny-Turner optical layout and features a 163mm focal length, an entrance aperture ratio of f/3.6 and a wavelength resolution of 0.17nm.
- Interchangeable gratings & interchangeable slits: gratings can be easily interchanged to suit your wavelength range and resolution requirements without the need for re-alignment. A wide selections of various groove frequency gratings are available. A calibrated micrometer wavelength drive allows for changing of center wavelengths.
- Interchangeable fixed slits or a variable slit width accessory are also offered.
- Robust, compact & accurate: the Andor Shamrock 163i is built in a solid housing to deliver superior, and reliable performance time after time. Its compact size, low cost and versatility make it attractive to researchers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s).
- Wide range of accessories available: the Shamrock 163i is available with a host of input accessories including a shutter, entrance slits, optical fibers, calibration lamps and different array detector adaptors.
- Imaging & non-imaging models available: the Shamrock 163i model is available in two options: the shamrock 163i for imaging or multi- track spectroscopy applications and the shamrock 163 for conventional non-imaging needs. The Shamrock 163i offers imaging capability by the addition of an image correction lens behind the entrance slit assembly. An optional entrance slit shutter is also available for operating in imaging or multi-track readout mode.
- Available for use with a wide range of cameras: including – CCD's, EMCCD's and ICCD's. Coupled to Andor's compact, high performance USB 2.0 camera, the iDus CCD detector system, the Shamrock 163 spectrograph provides the ideal tool for absorption/transmission, fluorescence, reflection and source characterization. The Shamrock 163 spectrograph is also available as a stand-alone option for use with an existing or third party CCD or array detector.
