Unique 3-D sensitivity Equipped with an advanced-design reference wavelength function, this detector has unique sensitivity specifications exceeding those of a very good UV detector. The extremely low baseline drift makes signal detection insensitivie to fluctuations in ambient conditions and ensures optimal peak integration. The L-2455U works on the principle of a single-beam photometer incorporating a grating monochromator. It is fitted with a 1024-bit diode array and provides the highest degree of spectral resolution over the entire spectral range. Selectable optical slit widths and electronic diode bunching allow spectral resolution and sensitivity to be optimised as required for each specific analysis. In conjunction with the EZChrom Elite Chromatography Data System, a wide selection of three-dimensional chromatogram and spectra processing functions are available, e.g. peak identification by spectra and peak purity control. The mercury lamp enables automatic wavelength calibration to be carried out over the entire spectral range of the detector. For ease of maintenance, all lamps and the flow-through cell are accessible from the front of the unit. - Unique sensitivity
